Bedroom, bathroom, kitchen with all the necessities. Large screen TV with good cable or satellite. The rest I can handle.

This is a 3 bedroom - 3 full bathroom - full kitchen with washer/dryer condo right next to the old Waverly parking lot. I always stay at Mossy Oak which is great for guys trips but doesn't have a house feel if there more than 1-2 nights.

If you were looking to win over my group, then if you threw a couple 6-packs of a local brew with a nice note about some good places to eat and a liquor store...we'd love you.

I'm going to have a Book in the kitchen for people to leave me a note and an email address to send suggestions. I'm already working on a list of restaurants (phone #s) located in West Point (short list and starts with Anthony's), Columbus and Starkvegas, along with Bars & Liquor Store. I plane to have it posted below the TV in Living Room.

A book with tips for the course.

Map of local points of interest such as best grocery store, liquor store, maybe info on local restaurants.

Oh, guest book is always fun. Do name, hometown, date. Fun for guests to look through to see people coming from various towns/states and more so if the same guests keep coming back as tradition to write their own name/dates down and remember the trip back in 2010

The best air BnB places I’ve stayed have a nice binder with all the pertinent info for controlling stuff in the place (spa controls, tv/cable info, list of cool sights in the area). That seems obvious, but there are some that really have great tips not only on restaurants, but even best things on the menu, places to avoid etc. Maybe even lay out some of the rules of the HOA they can’t violate without a problem.

I would consider having matches and a cigar ashtray or two if you are ok w it. Even better is leaving some lighters.

Also, make sure the closets have adequate hangers. I hate not being able to unpack and hang my shirts.

I’ve been to places before that have yardage guides for the courses in the area that you can use and then leave there for the next guests. I thought that was really cool. My buddies went to a place where they had a “take a ball marker, leave a ball marker” bowl where there were some really interesting course ball markers.

Anyway, I’m sure your place will be baller.

I’m looking at making the trip up there next weekend, weather permitting. What kind of shape is the course in?

Both courses are in great shape. Mossy Oak just hosted the MGA State Am last week and greens are a 12 on the stimp . Old Waverly is getting ready to host the Southern Am starting on July 14th. There is a reason both are in the Top 100.

Bonus: winner of the State Am was Cohen Trolio (-19) and he is coming to LSU in the fall.

I’d probably skip the ice maker and get a nice grill instead. If grills are allowed there. I’d probably just get a cable or DirecTV plan as well. Older folks don’t know how to use those Roku TV’s.
