What is wrong with trying to make a member feel welcomed? He’s obviously had a bad experience.

Slightly off topic but I’m a new member out there and don’t know any other members. Looking for a game for a shitty golfer.

I rode through Baker at 10:30 this morning after my deer hunt and Clark was packed. Nice sixsome on #2. No way I would’ve played anywhere around BR today.

For sure. At the very least they could have a marshal alternate people in who are starting their back 9.

Platinum Paspalum greens

Didn't Belle Terre plant paspalum a few years ago? I know they always had issues with salt water, so they were discussing that type of grass.

Quite the opposite actually... The staff there are great, facilities are nice, course is fun... Now I did get a little miffed at you on a matter and if you want to talk about you obviously know how to reach me .

They seeded with a different strand of paspalum. We will sprig it. Platinum is used on athletic fields all over the world including 2022 World Cup and Minute Maid Park. Closest place I believe is Camp Creek.

We have been talking to our golf super about Paspalum and here it what he has told us:
* the seeded version Dynasty used at Belle Terre and Abbeville has Platinum as one of the parent plants
* Tidelands in Galliano sodded Platinum on their greens
* Go to the UGA website to learn about the different Paspalums

I doubt they will screw over all the Junior / Lakes members. Junior members might get the short end of the stick sometimes on tee times or things like that, if the club does all this work. They have big tournaments out there and no members can play either course.

I have been playing out there since it opened. I can say that the Links greens used to feel like you were walking on a sponge or cushion. They don't really feel like that anymore.

I still think it's kept better than most all the other non private courses in the area.
