It plays 7400 from the tips and the fairways can be narrowed. I've played the greens when "tournament" firm and it's a challenge.

I love when people play the south course at 6400 yards and bitch about how easy it is after firing an 87.

They could tip that course out and grow the rough up and it would play extremely long, hard, and fast. They just don’t do it to us weekend hackers.

I’ve played with many good golfers at both Bayou Oaks and TPC. They typically score better at TPC.

Length of the Par 5s and Par 3s along with the wind of the lake make it a real challenge.

But I don’t see the logistics of having the Zurich at bayou oaks working. Parking alone would not be possible with jazz fest going on.

They’d just use the north course.

A real driving range and locker room would need to be built at City Park if they wanted to host the Zurich.

I'm out at English Turn a good bit. If they spent the time necessary beforehand they could get that course in tournament condition. Still remember 06 Zurich being there after Katrina.

I’ve heard it’s practically done. Barring major improvements to TPC. Seems like TPC is holding no money back.

Not sure about their business model, but I love the golf course.

Headed down to TPC- Louisiana to play the last week of June. Looking forward to seeing how we fare compared to the Zurich field on that last par 3

Last time I played BO there wasn’t much rough to speak of. You can miss on some drives and still be in great shape as long as you are still hitting long

Why don’t they grow out the rough? They took the rough completely out of play on 15, used to be chest high weeds and they mowed them down and now you can play it... takes away the strategy of the hole

All of the greens are flat as shite, as is the course. They would destroy that place
