Actually, you're right. I just listed the U.S. Open courses first.

I have had more fun playing Wolfdancer. It's a great layout. Always played with buddies, and always hit the lazy river with a Shiner Bock after. While Torrey has a better view and prestige, it's also a 5 1/2 hour round playing behind Mr and Mrs Havercamp. That's why I put Torrey high on the prestige list and Wolfdancer high on the personal favorites list.

Pasatiempo
The Broadmoor East
Blackwolf Run (Meadow Valleys)
Fallen Oak
Paiute Wolf
Honorable Mention is 2 of the nines at Grand View Lodge in Brainard, Minnesota. Can't remember which 2, but the bent grass greens were stunningly perfect. Like putting on pool felt.

I've played Torrey South and found it to be underwhelming. The setting is obviously awesome, but it's got like two interesting holes. The rest is a monotonous slog. I also enjoyed Wolfdancer a lot more than Torrey.

Agree with you on Torrey. Great location, but just a good course.

I like 3, 4 and the par 5s on the back. The North Course has a couple good holes as well. Favorite hole I've ever played is probably #3 at Mauna Kea.
