The other thread got me thinking about this. If I was to build an 18 hole golf course with holes compiled from BR area courses, this is my list.

This list assumes every hole is in pristine shape, same grass, etc. Imagine composite course on a simulator.

By Course:

Bluffs 1
Bluffs 9
Bluffs 11
Bluffs 17
Bluffs 18

Carter 17
Carter 14

Beaver Creek 10

Greystone 5
Greystone 13

Santa Maria 5
Santa Maria 18

Webb 7

The Island 18

Pelican Point 16

Copper Mill 2

City Park 4
City Park 9

In Order of Play:
Bluffs 1
Carter 14
Carter 17
Island 18
Copper Mill 2
Greystone 5
Webb 7
Santa Maria 5
Bluffs 18

Beaver Creek 10
Bluffs 11
Pelican Point 16
City Park 9
City Park 4
Greystone 13
Santa Maria 18
Bluffs 17
Bluffs 9

Par 72, 6-6-6

If you’re picking 5 and 13 at Greystone, I can’t trust anything you say about golf ever. 13 was a damn mistake.

I would put BC 12 or 14 over 10...Thats a pretty easy hole in general.

Beaver Creek 10

Of all the holes at Beaver you picked 10? That's one of the most uninteresting holes out there.

I like 9 at BC mostly because it’s the only interesting green that requires a decent shot for par.

I can see that one, it's not the hardest shot, but you can get some funky angles into that green if your tee shot is a little off

I mean what do you want him to do? The Bluffs is easily the best public course design around BR.

Can you help us walkers out by building a footbridge on 15 so we don't have to walk around the entire waste area?

I love/hate #14 over there. I like that it makes you think about what club to use off the tee instead of bombing a driver and being left with a short iron or wedge.

I like #13 a lot as well.

About 6 years too late...

13 is fun, you just can't miss it to the right off the tee...12 I believe is one of the most mentally challenging holes in BR with OB right and water left.

Don’t know how you could put BC 10 above 11,13,14 or 15. Double eagle’d 11 a few years back so personally that ones my favorite

Greystone 13 is the triple tier, right?

I needed a par 4, and I like the centerline bunker. I don't like 12 bc it's just a straight hole with trouble on both sides.

That's why I prefer to stay mentally challenged, so holes like that don't sneak up on me.

Yep. It was built wrong. 90° off clockwise.

BeaverPRO, 5 at Santa Maria is the toughest hole mentally on a public Br course. No room left or right. Relatively small green. 190+ yards even from the one-ups.

So instead of stairstepping back left it would have stair stepped up from left to right????

Definitely better the way it is.

For how bad my lifetime score to Par is on 14 at beaver, I still absolutely love the hole design

Pretty sure 13 at Greystone is a par 3

My parents were members at Shenandoah and I honestly can't remember those holes. I played a lot of 7-9 and 1 growing up as a kid. Wish,I would have been able to play it as an adult.
