Does making fun of a guy that is struggling make you feel better?

What happened to him? Serious question, not trolling. Is it something physical or is between the ears?

We can probably set up a head to head with you and Smylie if you are feeling frisky.

Honest question for those of yall that know way more about golf than me:

There has to be non pro golfers that play all the time and are scratch club guys that would beat Smylie right now right?

Guys that make the show are likely +4 or better.

Making the tour to start any event is better than all but a unicorn of a club member who is scratch.

Smylie is struggling, but he is probably +4 or maybe even better.

yes, theres prob a bunch, but i bet you that smylie plays pretty damn good on a saturday with his buddies

the difference in guys who keep their card and guys who are korn ferry or Q school and even really good club guys is actually very little. it really comes down to the mental game. they all can hit it at that level, just takes an extra edge to be able to grind and make something out of it when you dont have your A game.

Im just thinking of Steph Curry

He went out and shot 71 and then 86

Thats right in line with Smylie this last few years, and there are these scratch golfers like Steph all over the place at clubs I have been too. I feel for Smylie the dude has just lost it

He got married a few years ago. Not saying that is the cause but makes you wonder.

Smylie would throttle Curry.

There are people that went into business instead of playing professionally that could give him a run. Trip Kkuehne type people.

He would? Steph went 71-86 at an actual pro event

Seems right in line with Smylie
