No, because the course closes Wednesday at noon. Nobody’s playing after lunch unless they play in the Par 3.

Tiger Woods isn't going to Augusta to just play in the Par 3. He's definitely playing next week!

Negative unless this is new the past 5 years. Wednesday is the best day to see the course during the par 3. And Vijay Singh used to always be out there practicing during it. They don’t all play in the par 3.

Also had eyes inside today that saw Charlie woods playing the course without his dad. ?????

He has gone just for the champions dinner before. He will 100% be in Augusta, because he isn’t going to miss the champions dinner. But he may not play

Would suck if Tiger played and did worse than Sandy Lyle.

The only thing he's definitely doing next week is attending the champions dinner.

Sounds like he was able to play a practice round yesterday - not sure if he was able to walk all 18. He is definitely trying his best to play next week, but for now no one really knows how close he is to doing that. It's safe to say he really wants to play in it & seems like he's taking the necessary steps to do it.

I read that he played 18 holes yesterday. However, I have not seen anything that said he walked the entire course.

quote:

The 15-time major winner arrived at the course in the morning along with his son Charlie, according to a source who asked not to be identified. Woods was seen on the driving range with South Florida neighbor Justin Thomas before heading to play.

It is believed to be the first time that Charlie Woods, 13, has played at Augusta National.

Charlie was reported to have played the course with his dad. Others at Augusta National on Tuesday were Dustin Johnson, Patrick Reed and Rory McIlroy.

You know who the source is or something?

There is no golf carts at Augusta National a week before the tournament.

What did you use to track tail number? Flight aware doesn’t allow his to be tracked?

N517TW - GTW CORP (JUPITER FL)

This aircraft (N517TW) is not available for public tracking per request from the owner/operator.

That's my airplane! How do I track my airplane on FlightAware?

Augusta is probably the one place where that means very little with respect to breaking rules

I'm going for the first time on Thursday. I'm beyond excited. What are my pro tips for getting the most out of the day?

Drop your chair at 12 right off the bat and use amen as a “home base”. They have a concession stand area right there so when you need a break from walking the course grab a beer and take a seat

When you go in the gate, they give you a pamphlet with suggestions by Bobby Jones of how to observe the course. It is a good guide, but because They have had to bump the tees back so much since 1934 on several holes it is not as easy to see greens and tees from the same spot.

I usually walk the entire course if I’m with someone who has never been. If I’m with people who have seen it before, we will watch a few guys tee off on 1, watch a few putt at 9, head down to 2 green, then 7 green, then over to 15/16 complex grandstand.

There are some underrated viewing spots: 6 green, 5 green, 8 green, 14 green.

Amen corner ropes are pretty far from the action. It is a big crowd so I usually just spend a few minutes there. You can’t get near 11,12 greens or 13 tee. 13 green is far from the ropes.

18 tee box is amazing to stand behind.

I will be there Sunday! When not walking around I like 6 green, you have good view of 16 from there too, and next to the water between 15 and 17. You’ve got to spend some time at Amen Corner just to see it, but as mentioned, you’re a long way from the action. Top of the hill of 13 is pretty good I once was told to look for weeds….I never found one! The grass is like carpet.

Wear comfortable shoes. It's a very hilly place and you'll be walking a lot
