re: Those of you that got new clubs recently, how long did you have to wait?

shite, at this point, I'd love to have waited 10 weeks. I'm going to get my order number from David Toms Academy and do some looking into it myself.

Wanted to respond to this because I believe you mentioned that you were left-handed. I ordered a set of left-handed TM 790s through my club in March and they were given an ETA of late April. A couple of weeks later, they were given an ETA of late August. Since I knew my specs, I went to the TM website and just for kicks, I ordered them directly from TM and was initially given a late April ETA. And of course, two weeks later, was given an updated date of late August.

At that point, I started looking for other clubs and out of the blue, I got an email saying my clubs were shipping and they showed up in late April. These were the ones I ordered directly from TM so I just canceled the other order through my club.

So a couple of things:
1. I was told that TM and maybe other companies have two places where they build clubs - one for on-line orders and one for orders from clubs, golf shops, etc... and, that first priority goes to on-line orders.
2. Certain shaft brands and models are the biggest issue. I have KBS C-tapers and those have been hard to find.

My cobras came in around 3 days. I love those baby’s.
