In 10 years or less, nobody will remember anything about Liv in particular the team bullshite. Nobody will remember who won any tournaments, nobody will remember who the money leaders were, nobody will remember anything about Liv other than it being a shitstain on the tighty whities of pro golf. Quite the legacy.

Okay
It may not be very popular on the TD golf board, but it’s just absurd to act like nobody cares about it. They’ve brought some of the biggest golf events in a country’s history to Australia & South Africa

So he’s “struggling to make the cut” in 2/8, 3/8? Which is it? You made it seem like it’s every major
If your goal here is to argue that a field in a major tournament is tougher than LIV events, I think I’d have to agree with you….

In 4/8 majors Rahm had played since liv, he either missed the cut or made the cut by one stroke….Thats 50% of the time he is on the cut line. I would say he is struggling or battling to make the cuts is pretty accurate?

Only if you are a PGA homer

If I'm getting payed millions and millions I could give two shits what the PGA tour thinks.

eh, Rahm as one of the best golfers in the world. Being on the cut line in half the majors since he left for LIV, for a player of his caliber, is pretty bad.

I think it's more that people don't take it seriously. The business model had a lot of "yeah this doesn't work in a normal market so we're just going to throw loony amounts of money at it." The foreign tournies are nice, but spend that much money and you better end up with something nice
Couple that with taking away great players in the prime of their tour careers and it's easy to see why people don't like it imo.

Money aside I find it really hard to believe Rahm and Bryson are fine watching their legacies evaporate before their eyes and it not getting to them.
It was honestly really silly for both Bryson and Rahm. Both would have made 100M easily on tour.
What is the difference between 100M and 300M with a tarnished legacy?
The tour would be epic right now with Rahm and Bryson at most events.

Whenever you post something like this or “everyone thinks this, trust me”, is when you can tell you are talking out of your arse.
Rahm is still a top 5 golfer in the world. The best Spanish golfer since Seve. He will win another major
Bryson is one of, if not the most popular golfers in the world. He had 3 top 10s in majors last year. He will contend in majors again this year

If tweet fails to load, click here. It’s way too early to be taking this victory lap based off of 1 tournament. Like I said, check back in July

Thinking rahms legacy in the game of golf isn’t being impacted is a ludicrous take man and you know it

I guess it's cool that some golfers got huge paychecks to go play with LIV. Good for them, frick you money would be a hard thing to turn down. As a golf league of any significance or importance, LIV has always been irrelevant.

Going to LIV definitely didnt negatively impact Bryson. If anything, he is more popular now than ever before and it is because the flexibility LIV gave him

not currently he isn't. 2 years ago, absolutely.

Who other than Sergio is he up against from Spain? Miguel Angel Jimenez? That country doesn't exactly produce a lot of high level golfers

Seems some people owe the OP an apology
LIV was always a shite product and it looks like it’s finally over for good
