Last year I left around 4-5 and it was about 45 minutes waiting on Uber. Just order Uber and hang out around the holes near the front. Start walking when he gets close. Not worth a dwi.

How is the shuttle? I've never done it before, and may be down for it. Just wondering how it is with walking, waiting on shuttle, length of shuttle ride, etc.

It really doesn’t take too long. The charter buses are constantly running. Maybe a 10 minute ride on the bus at the most. Not long waits for a bus to fill up and leave either from the lot or from the golf course. From the time you leave the gate until the time you are in your own car is likely no more than 20 minutes.

Does Walk-On's tent also give you access to the "Best of" tents or it's an either-or situation?

Are the "Best of" tents covered or out in the sun? Do they provide unlimited food or given tickets to redeem for food like at the Acme tents in prior years?

Best of tents have shaded areas, and you get food tickets. It’s not unlimited food but you do get some free food. Drinks are unlimited.

At least that’s how it worked in years past.

I’ll be out there Saturday and have walk ons tickets Sunday.

No. As someone mentioned, where acme used to be located is now part of the fidelity fairway club. The old acme location and the 18th fairway “all inclusive”.

Walkons is now the grandstand behind the 17th green, and they made it so that there is no open area behind the 17th green to view as you walk by. Grandstands are blocking all of that until you get up the 18th cart path a ways. There’s a Tito’s tent to the left that you can look back and see the 17th green from across the pond.

I’ll be going Saturday to the 18th fairway fidelity tent. And maybe Sunday. Looking forward to it. Great weather and the course looked nice Monday.

after further review, the broadcast showed Bubba’s wayward tee shot on hole #7, not hole #8. But they did show a nice punch out under the trees and on the green on #8.

to where? any of the "tents" is nice......the 18th fairway fidelity tent is the premiere one, and the 17th fairway fidelity one is next in line....walk-ons is a nice towering grandstand on top of the 17th green. probably the best view to any hole.

advice is, if you're in any of the tents, get there, have some drinks, sample some foods....grab a drink or 2 and head out and walk and follow someone you like, or a leading group for 4-5 holes. take it in, watch (listen) to them hit. then get back to your tent and party it up till it closes.
