So the Mavrik was a POS and they had to go back with the Epic word?

Epic is its own series. Mavrik replaced the Rogue. Each is on a 2 year release cycle

Yep. It’s why they still sell the epic flash as “new.” They’re different drivers in terms of shape mostly.

Mavrik Sub Zero is legit the perfect driver for me. Brian Manzella told me the Callaway drivers tend to alternate between good for toe misses and good for heal misses. Though I find it is relatively hot all over the face, but that’s the only place manufacturer can do anything now is increasing speed across the whole face.

The TSI3 is probably the most intriguing, I’ve heard that is a rocket.

I tested the TSi3 head to head against my SIM and my SIM won out. On well struck balls, both were very similar, but on slight mishits the SIM was head and shoulders above the TSi3. The sound of the TSi3 was fantastic and it looks beautiful.

The new sim looks like something you’d unlock in a video game. I really just can’t see myself hitting something with all the colors unless it’s far better than an option like the TSi3 or whatever.

Currently have 917D3. Not planning on upgrading for at least another year or 2. Would probably look at ping more seriously this time around

I got the ping G410 LST a couple months back and it’s a great club. Very long and forgiving

Think they are going to alternate names each year.

I agree, I’m hitting the TSi3 now but probably not for long, SIM is definitely more forgiving.

Absolute grenade launcher! I’m not exactly sure what I would do if mine would die.

Yeah I really like the 917. Found one on eBay for 125 bucks. Bid thinking I’d lose and somehow won. But the shaft I liked from 913 in the 917 and I just hit it so good.

My dad bought the ping 400 recently I hit it on the range and really like the feel. He hits regular and I hit X so couldn’t really tell anything about distance.

But yeah it will be at least a year or 2 before I think about upgrading drivers. Waiting on USPS to deliver my Taylormade P7MB irons currently. Said it would deliver last Monday

Did my Callaway staff fitting last week at Golf Club of Houston. Epic Speed driver to replace my Mavrik and 3w, new Apex irons, already have the Jaws wedges and they're going back to the white hot on putters.

Already ordered the Ping G425 Driver and 3 wood with Rouge 130 MSI shaft. Due in Feb.

Ordered the 425 Irons with KBS Tour 105 shafts. Due in Feb.

The Sim 2.0 driver with the blue is awful looking.

Custom Vokey's are coming.

The new Cobra RADs woods are getting great reviews due in Feb.

New Srixon X7 and X5 irons due in March.

I just got the cobra speed zone in the white and matte finish for $350. Awesome driver, maybe my favorite I’ve ever had. Tested it against the sim with the same shaft and it was longer and more forgiving. And $150 cheaper.

Well these look incredible. May have to reconsider my obsession with new Mizunos.

The Odyssey White Hot OG Putters will be a big success.

The new Epic Max driver looks disappointing.
