Pretty sure the criticism is based more on guys offering solid tips and ‘Mr. 40 year old meat head’ arguing with them after asking for advice.

I’d be happy if that was my swing. Lots of criticism and no one else has posted their swing.

I took some videos today at the range and realized the lag is completely gone at impact with my irons so I’m working on that first. Solid contact but zero lag.

BPro and a few others are close to the zero HC range so their swings would look great. Others won’t post them.

That’s a great swing Baw. Second best swing I’ve ever seen posted on the Golf Board.

I think I saw your swing a while back. It looks good.

My swing is way more mediocre than your “ok” swing.

In fact, I’m extremely mediocre.

Decent distance considering you are not using much of your lower body at all.

When on the range, don’t know if you already are, but always use training sticks or something to make sure you are lined up properly every time.

Need to get those hips rotated and left elbow straight on take back.

Descent is all arms due to lack of hip rotation, hands are too far ahead and looks like you are whipping wrists around to compensate

Follow through looks good

I had ligament surgery on my left ankle in 2015 and didn’t play for a while and when I started back, I protected the ankle by using less lower body and not getting over to the left side.

Still working on it.

Probably the same here.

Until the last several rounds, my left ankle would be sore after 18 from the surgery. It hasn't hurt at all over the last 2 months.

More golf cures injuries!

Same guy, but with an iron at impact position...notice the lag in his right hand to help compress the ball.

I like the Gankas drill where you setup to the ball at impact position and from there take half swings (so almost like a reverse swing drill). Really helps with the feeling of getting your hips in the correct position and hands out in front of the ball at impact. Doing this drill correctly will lead to a truly pure shot with proper club compression, I feel like most golfers think they are striking it pure but really aren't. OP looks pretty flippy through impact that is what I would work on

That’s an XStiff shaft.

Not sure what your SS is, but with an average distance of what you got coupled with your physique, I am guessing your costing yourself some distance with to stiff of a shaft. I am right there distance wise with a reg flex and look like a green bean compared to you. It also looks like you sway to your front foot based on 3rd picture.

Don't let these jealous fricks tell you what to wear.

BPro is right on with my lack of lower body rotation and my complete loss of lag at impact. Improving both will help in the swing speed department.

I hit a couple in the 275-280 range during the round with some big draws. I will get lucky with a better swing on a handful of drives during a round.

I have been swinging a one-handed three wood in the yard and tossing it forward, trying to maintain a lag, and progressing full shots after other drills.

Losing lag is a symptom of something else in your swing.

A down the line set of pics would probably explain it.
