I'd say form is bad at the top of the backswing, both hips and arms. It looks tight and inflexible because of your swoleness. Hard to tell with still photos but I would assume you're having to do a bunch of things on the downswing to make things go right. Just having a longer swing radius by getting your arms in a higher and more locked position in picture #2 will give you 10 more yards or so I'd guess. Also would add more consistiency.

You don't skip leg day either like many gym rats. Congrats.

The drive shown was 250-260 or so directly into the wind on #6 at Carter.

I was still 320 or so out and put a shot into 8I range but left the side-hill approach to the right (didn't move back left at all) of the green.

Seems like we were hitting directly into the wind on every Par 5 out there. The 590 yard #4 felt more like 630. I was happy with a bogey on that beast of a hole.

Some people for whatever reason have trouble clearing their hips. I’m one of those people. It feels like I’m clearing them just fine but on video it looks like I get stuck behind my arms

Do you work on it? You should. I say this because I'm not very bendy so I have the same issues. I've worked on it more for trail running than golf. Mostly hip and torso movements. Not too involved, maybe 10-15 minutes a day on average. Stretches we all might have done playing sports in high school.

Thanks for the snap shots. Takes balls to show ur swing on the Rant so good for you. Yeah perhaps your right arm needs to stay closer to ur body but a lot of good in that swing.

Just remember what Chubbs said to Happy: “It’s all in the hips.”

You’re not good enough for a white belt.

Beaver hit the biggest thing. You need more lower body. With your build, if you kick that lower body into gear you’re likely to add 15-20 yards and be more accurate.

That may be so, but I bet a look better than you wearing one.

1. Posts swing on internet, asks for advice
2. Receives advice
3. Argues with everyone about their advice

Never change, internet.

Why does everyone from LA think they have to look all puffy and swole? That’s all I got.

No. Never comfortable wearing one.

The golf glove is a preference. Is that a swing change? I can never find one fits. I’ll wear one on very hot days, but play without one nearly every round.

I explained the left arm. An old break in my elbow prevents me from completely straightening it out.

The swing is flat which is why the hands are low and I’ve already stated I’m going to widen the arc, which means getting them higher. I even say it in the OP at #3.

Chappy and BPro and I are fraternity brothers and he was giving me shite for the game worn LSU jersey I’ll break out on game days at our tailgate. And that jersey, is, in fact, a 44.

The shaft in my driver is XS, so I don’t know what you’re trying to say. Maybe I can insert a steel pipe as my next shaft?

And the drive shown was 250-260.

So, who is arguing again?

No, you’re just an idiot.

A white belt, high crown visor, and some GFore’s would add 30 yards

Lol. There’s a balance between healthy/fit and looking like a swollen pig. Exhale my guy. It’ll be ok.

I’d be happy if that was my swing. Lots of criticism and no one else has posted their swing.
I say congratulations.
