Should I consider a new set of clubs?

I currently play a set of ping eye 2 that I have had since I was a teenager (hand me downs). I don’t mind playing them, but I’m sure technology has changed since they were made. Also they may not fit me correctly being they are hand me downs.

That's going to be a yes for me dog.
There hasn't been a "10 more yards of distance" improvement like club manufacturers claim every single year because we'd be hitting the ball 1000 yards by now if that was true, but there have been some pretty significant improvements in club and shaft technology since the eye2 that could help you improve your game.
Get fitted. Most places will fit you for free.

get on a Trackman and get your ball speed down so you can at least get the right shafts in there.

No clue how often you play or how good you are but you will gain forgiveness & distance instantly upgrading your eye2’s. With or without a fitting.

I swung an old Great Big Bertha driver a few weeks ago in a simulator, then a 2026 Callaway.
It was like night and day
I realized real quick that technology has changed a lot, I'm sure the irons are the same.
