The only thing that can stop Scottie is injury, Booze, Drugs or PU$$Y.

The difference is Tiger basically hit a wall (thanks to injuries and scandals) in his 30’s, so Scheffler has the opportunity to catch up to that pace if this run continues.
Yeah, Hank Aaron waltzed into the record books by simply collecting 200 hits, 35 HRs and 100 RBIs every year for like 25 years. Consistency is an underrated attribute in sports, especially golf.

Soo, just injury
I could also see Scottie focusing less and less on golf and more on family as his family grows. He's already set to be generationally wealthy and has his priorities in line.

Imo Tiger got a lot more athletes playing golf. Feels like the quality of player is better now than when Tiger was in his prime and Tiger is a big reason why.
100%. Philosophically, Tiger was the one who changed golf from a game to a sport. He was miles ahead of the field on his physical approach. Maybe only Gary Player took a similar path before him. Most of the field has now modeled their game after Tiger.
As for Scottie catching him. If we're talking majors, Tiger won all but the last of his majors in a 10 year window, while not winning any in 5 of those years. Is it doable? Sure, but that's a really tall order and requires a ton of luck with injuries. End of the day, winning 10 more is just a crazy number to think about.

We all thought Tiger was a family man until we found out the truth

If Tiger was at his peak in 2025 we'd all know his true colors
There is no hiding anymore.

Scottie is acutally ahead of Tiger at Tiger's best 3 years 2000-2003. Scottie has better record his last 3 years.
If anyone breaks Jack's major record, Scottie has the best chance.

You understand the life span of a golf career right? Tiger is 5 years ahead of Scottie. I love Scottie, my favorite player since Tiger but you’re working within a certain time frame and he’s not on the same pace as Tiger. The goal is the goal, the time to reach it doesn’t change outside of 2 or 3 very rare chances, throughout history, past the normal time frame. What you’re talking about is a run, he’s having a great run, but pace is relative to reaching the alltime major win total.

With the exception of 2019 Masters, Tiger stopped winning majors at age 32. To me it feels like Scottie is just catching his stride. It feels different than Spieth, or Koepka, or Rory. Maybe he peters out, but I think he has more success into his 30’s than tiger did and tops out somewhere around 10 majors. Which is certainly incredible. Staying healthy is an obvious.
Let’s see how his next few years go. If he wins a couple more next season then I’d maybe say watch out Tiger. I wouldn’t be surprised if he has some longevity like Phil, who won all 6 of his after age 33.

TBF, Tiger went through a swing change between 1st and 4th major.

What is the reasoning behind this thinking?

I know he’s the best, but the talent is so deep nowadays.
It amazes me how many players can step up and win at the highest level of golf.
Multi-major champs capable of winning more majors:
These 3 will win other majors
Scheffler
Xander
Rory
These three probably will win other majors
Rahm
Brooks
Bryson
These 3 might not win another major
Morikawa
JT
Speith
I don’t think DJ wins another major.
Am I missing any young active multiple major winner on this list?

I saw something posted on Golf Channel that pointed this stat out. maybe it was during the same age for 3 years. Honestly, I don't know, but my some measurable they showed, SS was slightly ahead of Tiger, but quite close. I really don't care. They are both great, and that is all that is important. Comparisons are very difficult at best.

He plays on LIV he can still scrape a win out if he keeps his nose clean.
