Scheffler dominating. LIV update?

Never a contest. Zero interest on Sunday. Would it have been if LIV guys could’ve competed?
I’m sure Rory would be in the hunt if he wasn’t worried about LIV. :eyeroll:

I hate that we can’t watch Cam Smith out there, but it is what it is at this point. Everyone got what they wanted but the fans it appears.

I thought for some reason that they approved LIV guys to compete in the majors? Or was that just proposed.

I’m not sure about all the majors but they can compete in the masters as long as they qualify. Think it’s the same for the other 3 but not 100%

The Players is a PGA Tour event. LIV Players are not eligible.

If I am not mistaken the following is true:
1. Masters is an invitational so they can invite who they want
2. US Open is an open so they could qualify
3. British Open - same as above
4. PGA Championship is not run by the PGA tour but I don’t know what their stance is on the LIV guys being able to play.
LIV guys would have made some difference but don’t know about winning as Scottie is on a roll. Probably would have replaced all the no name guys that littered this leaderboard.

Non PGA majors yes....They will be in The Masters, US Open, and Open Championship.

This is not a major..it is a pga tour exhibition. Tiger will be at the actual majors

Last year the winning score was 13 under by Cam Smith. Scheffler demolished that score.
Also the names at the top of the leaderboard were:
Cam Smith
Lahiri
Paul Casey
Kurt Kisner
Keegan Bradley
Great golfers, but not necessarily a "who's who" event. Not really weighing in on the LIV vs. PGA debacle. I share this sentiment right here.

That's a bit of a reach. I have never been to Augusta but TPC stadium course is the most manicured grounds I have ever been to. What you see in Sun is also what you see on a Tues in ...Oct ( Unless some specific work is being done)
