As a single golfer most of the time (I normally book a tee time with others) I cant count how many times I am at the tee box 5-10 minutes early and the starter tells me the group you are with already teed off at an earlier time(at Santa Maria). You can imagine how slow it at that point as a single playing behind a full tee sheet.

you guys were playing a 3 or 4 man scramble, you should be pretty fast

I can’t stand playing SM too many clowns who think they are Gods gift to golf out there. Too many ppl act like they are “members” and you are burdening them by being on “their” course.

Sadly this is true, though in do find its better this year than last year. I live in the sub and play other courses if i can before SM. Dealing with the entitled old man brigade who think they own the course is rough. It’s not all of them by any means but the ones that ads like that ruin the experience. Also i find the people i get paired with are SM to me overall not as nice than say Webb or Beaver.
