He just doesn’t have the game, if he isn’t making everything he’s really not a threat.

It’s just that’s its especially true in Spieth’s case

You'll enjoy this thread when he ends up with 6 career majors.

Charles would have been a great player had he actually worked on his short game.

nah, just trying to get some excitement going.

I'm glad he won the Championship. I just wish people would leave him alone and let him do his thing. Must suck to have that much pressure on you every time you tee up.

Like some of you I have stood a few feet from Spieth taking full swings and he just doesnt have what some of the others have.

The sound, the swing, the ball flight is not near as explosive. You cant sense it from the television broadcast.

His square release promotes accuracy and consistency, especially under pressure but that release coupled with his more rigid swing wont allow him to strike the ball like DJ, Fleetwood, Rory etc.

OMG, this over and over. They have won 8 majors between the two of them. Which is great and all. I would honestly put Rory more in the lead as the next big thing. But he has really struggled since winning 2 in one year. I know he's been in the running a few times this year. I know he won Arny's tournament. But he's only won 3 times since his last major victory. I thought Spieth might come strong again after winning the Open this year, but womp womp. He didn't.

Spieth age 25
PGA wins: 11
Major wins: 3

DJ Age 34
PGA wins: 19
Major wins: 1

Fleetwood Age 27
PGA wins: 0
Major wins: 0

Rory Age 29
PGA wins: 14
Major wins: 4

The best part of his game is the best part of golf to be good at. Ball striking is great and all, but it's a nice consolation they give to golfers who don't win a ton.

I feel like it's only a matter of time for Fleetwood. He was close to winning several times this year.

Speith has won more at his age than anyone but like Tiger and Nicklaus

Every player has slumps. Tiger went 2.5 years between winning the most dominant Masters of all time in 97 and the PGA in 99. This is Speith’s first season without a victory and he finished runner up at the Masters.

Speith isn’t long enough to rack up Tiger/Nicklaus like Career totals, but he’ll find his putting stroke again and he’s got a crazy good mental game.

50&10 would be my guess on Career totals
