Planning to do a DIY backyard putting green, but want smaller than normal golf cups as better practice.
I thought this would be universally easy to find but haven’t been able to find even one online.
Anybody have any ideas on where one could get these?

So I get the idea behind this, practice on smaller holes and get more accurate, but I don’t like this idea
I feel like this would just kill my confidence, I mean I’ve never heard of basketball players shooting on smaller rims to increase accuracy.

Seems dumb not to do it to me. I have a putting ramp thing I built for the house and used like a a doorknob drill for the hole. It’s great. When you get out to the course the hole looks like a bucket.
I always thought too since I was a kid if I was ever like a football coach that I’d have my FG kicker practice kicking into uprights about half the size.
It just makes sense. Train your accuracy to something smaller. Aim small miss small. Plus it’s for the backyard so who gives a frick if you’re not pouring them in every time. More interesting to have a challenge

Logic is sound, hope it works out for your game

Seems like some kind of removable insert would make more sense. That way you aren’t stuck with it if you don’t like it, or others who want to have fun couhd enjoy it.

This is actually a commonly used basketball shooting practice aid. they make clip on rims to make the opening smaller.

Disc golf has a version of it as well.

What DIY putting green design are you going with? Debating on doing one next year.
