Rain Gear Recommendations

I'm headed to Bandon in March and trying to plan ahead a little bit. Do yall have any recs for good rain gear that you like? Looking for jacket and pants.

Abacus is great. I've used it in Scotland and Ireland recently and it's the best rain suit I've ever had.

Galway Bay is pricey but worth it.
There are many things I won't overspend on; don't own one Rhoback shirt, no need for $75 belts to me but when it comes to something technical like rain gear I am not looking to save money because performance means so much more. It's not about fashion it's about being comfortable enough to enjoy your experience and for that, I am willing to spend a premium.

I bought ecco waterproof shoes and galvin green rain gear before bandon. Got rained on 2 days and i was golden. My wallet was not.
They have just about anything you could need there in the pro shops as well. Buy a waterproof hat and whatnot there.
Enjoy its a magical place, very golf centered when compared to all the other new trendy resorts. Feels like a pilgrimage for golf purists. Everything is shockingly cheap as well. They could increase all their prices 50% and i wouldnt have blinked.
Bandon dunes > pac dunes > oldmac > trails > sheep ranch
The walk over the hill on #3 or 4 on old mac is my favorite experience in golf

Thanks guys definitely appreciate it. We are playing 11 rounds in 6 days so it's going to be a ton of golf.

Also, bring multiple pairs of golf shoes if you can, multiple pairs of socks a day, put the socks in a ziploc or waterproof bag in your golfbag so they aren't as wet of the ones you are wearing after a morning round, all the rooms have little heater/dehumidifiers you can stick your shoes on overnight and dry them out. Use them, they work well.
Also, if it's really raining before round starts, they have caddy bags you can move your stuff to at each clubhouse, ask your caddy to use them, it keeps your bag from getting drenched. We did this last day because we didn't want to travel with soaked bags, and I was regretful I didn't just do it every day when it was raining.
When it's raining out there, everything is getting wet if it's not in waterproof container, every pocket, every zipper, it's going to get inundated with water. There's no escape, you are completely exposed. If the caddy knows you're getting rain, they'll tell you to take off all your headcovers and leave them at clubhouse.

can't go wrong with KJUS, Gavin Green or Zero Restriction.
pro tip if you end up playing in a down pour. I learned this from a shop at Bandon. Latex glove under your rain glove. played in torrential rain and my hand was never wet. rain gloves were but hand was bone dry. elements are no joke out there. and do not under any circumstances let a caddie talk you into taking your rain gear out of your bag.
