Anyone here uses a pushcart? If so which one do you recommend, and what are some must have features? I have never used one but want to start walking more.

Thanks,

I have a caddytek. Like it. Had a Clicgear and it was good too.

Must haves that made me switch to Caddytec, storage bag, mini ice chest, umbrella holder, seat. It’s heavier than the clicgear but the accessories outweigh the twice I have to pick it up.

Do you have a 3 wheeled or 4?

I have This one. It doesn’t fold up as well as I would like, could just be me though.

Light, rolls easy. Works very well I would say.

3 wheel. It’s the best option. Easier to turn.

I don’t. But please let those riding in regular carts play through. Thanks.

If they are playing faster than me, no problem, play through.

The main feature on mine that I think is worth it is the hand wheel lock. Having to use my feet was always a pain in the arse.

I have seen just as many old guys in carts hold up play more than the walkers.

I was recently thinking about buying a walker trolly because I walk a lot and I have an average cart. But I saw on their website they aren’t in business anymore. Can’t find anything remotely close to what they sold.

I didn't realize they went out of business. I'm still rocking my Walker Trolley. Love it.

Cart players, especially when two in a cart, rarely play fast.
But me guy hits right, the other left.
First they go to one ball, then another…..

Yep, then there’s the spend 5 minutes looking for them in the trees or the rough. Mostly because they didn’t pay attention to where they went in.

Solinas golf course the Bryan Bros bought have all single rider carts. Data says rounds take less time.

I agree completely with the concept, would really like to see them on the RTJ courses.

I think on average, the rounds likely take the same amount of time, but I think the pace will feel better walking. If a course is super crowded on a weekend, you're probably looking at 4.5 hours no matter what. If you are in a cart, you wait for the fairway to clear, tee off, then you rush to your ball and wait for the green to clear. With walking, the flow is much better because you shouldn't be waiting as long once you get to your ball. Also, you'll have taken 15k steps by the end of the round and gotten a good workout in. I really hope my body holds up so I can walk in my 60s and 70s. It'd be nice if that was all I had to do for exercise.

Bought an MGI zip navigator 2 years ago. Best investment ever. Golf should be played walking.

Bought a push cart a few years ago because the group of guys I started playing with on Sunday was using them and I didn't want to be the only person in the foursome using a cart. And they're all 25 years older than me so they should be the ones riding if anything. But I switched back to backpacking it last year. I've had two back surgeries so I didn't think I could do 18 holes backpacking but I'm actually a lot less tired after backpacking than I was when I pushed a cart and my back is somehow holding up. Find it to be quicker as well.

Thinking of getting one.. My daughter has a Clicgear 4.0 that she uses for tournament play and it's a really nice cart.. Thinking mainly of getting one when its a cart path only day.. Usually keeps most people away and its easier just to walk to you ball.. Plus I need the exercise
