Reed's caddie suspended for tomorrow. Wonder if Justine will get back on the bag.

Apparently they were riding on the cart back and someone told Patrick “you fricking suck” to his face - his caddie then got off the cart and pushed him and cursed him out.

The fans have been rough. Cam Smith telling the fans to give the USA the business was over the line.

Only down 10-8 after a tough start.

It’s got to be difficult to play in - but as long as no one is talking during a backswing, I think it’s fine. US fans are no better to them over here.

I do not recall hearing all the talking and cheering so loudly for bad shots before. Tiger says it has been over the top.

Has it? Did it pick up heavily in the last foursomes? Before that I was surprised at the lack of big cheers for hole winning putts. I also thought the Aussie crowd was sort of star gazing and there to see the big stars and not as much to cheer for the internationals.

I fell asleep last night in the middle of the foursomes.

It’s definitely progressed since the first match. Idk if it’s over the line but Tiger saying it makes me think so. I mean on the first hole someone yelled at Reed that he had to wait 4 hours to eat a sandwich as it was silent and was about to approach his tee ball. Idk if it’s over the line but it’s just weird.

I watched the matches last night seemed loud at the wrong time. Aussies do like to drink so that could have been part. The foreigners remember New York for the Ryder Cup.

The players and coaches set the tone if this continues it will get worse and worse at these type of events. Seems to be getting more personal at these events.

I don't have a problem with what he did. He shoved the guy and the Tour suspends him for the singles match. I think that's excessive punishment. Patrick's swing coach will caddie for him.

I'm sure you're cool with what Ron Artest did, too

I don't know and I'm not interested enough to Google Ron Artest to find out what he did.

Also team Reed needs to get some thicker skin. You’re in the world of a professional sport, people are going to yell things at you that you don’t agree with. That isn’t an excuse to assault someone. You handle it in a professional way if it truly crosses the line and have them removed.

So you think simply pushing someone resulting in them spilling some beer is assault? Have you ever been in or seen a real fight?

It's technically battery. Assault is something different.

But yes, it's battery and possibly assault. The bar is quite low for what is considered battery/assault.
