Practice putting greens

Hello all, I quit playing normal, big courses in 2016 and permanently quit golf in early 2018. Slow play waiting for others 4+ hours was the last straw. I was a 1.5 handicap when I stopped. Recently, I purchased a used long putter on eBay and customized some. It's still a bit long. Anyways, I grew up playing Alexandria Golf & CC in Woodworth, LA. We had a terrible narrow putting green with minimal undulation. Oakwing's is narrow and long, better sloping but the two I liked most were 1) Tamahka Trails in Marksville and 2) Links on the Bayou down the road. I'm going to Lake Charles next week and would like to know which practice putting green is larger with more slope between the Golden Nugget and Contraband Bayou? About 15 years ago I played the National GC of LA but don't remember what theirs looks like. Can you recommend of the two casino courses? Is there a fee to putt? I ask because Tamahka Trails charges $10 per hour for putting.

Simple fix is join a private club. If you have the extra funds to do so. Don't think i could go back to a public course for the simple fact of having less traffic and playing at whatever pace you want and no worries about it being a 5 hour round.

Doesn't matter. Even if you're a black card. Everyone has to pay.

Never quite got this...
Not sure why people are in such a hurry to finish up a round and leave. Why play golf if an extra 30 minutes sends you into such an annoyed state?
Why is a 4+ hour round on a nice course on a nice day hanging out with friends so unbearable?
Do you allot yourself only 3.5 hours to play a round?
I'm a very fast player, but I don't mind being out there having fun with friends.
The waiting between shots can be annoying if you let it. It does mess up my game a little waiting so long between shots, but I don't let it ruin my day.

Actually 3 hrs flat is good timing. From the time you ride the golf **car** or push the cart, you should be thinking about the next shot. Grab a club and swing in a few seconds. All the lollygagging with wasted swings was unnecessary.

A lot of talk from someone who literally quit playing golf.
Sounds like you're probably the issue, not the long rounds.

You commented, I received a notification and yet you're still wasting my time (and yours) by not answering my question which some nice fellow chose to do. Get a life kid.

Sounds like you need some friends, baw.
If you go out on the golden nugget putting green and just start putting, I highly doubt anyone will tell you anything.

Trying to play Phil (McGraw) on the internet doesn't suit you. Sounds like you need to get a life. Why aren't emojis showing up btw? I see stupid animated bite sized emojis throughout this website but nothing modern shows up.

Hey Phil McGraw, if you could diagnose his technical issues with the site and it's emoji's too. We have really advanced modern emoji's and it seems like he just has the tiny old ones.

the golden nugget has a large putting green with minimal slope. L'Auberge has a very small putting green that is also kind of flat. out of the 2, GN has more movement in it. the National just built a new putting green behind the clubhouse and it's in the grow-in phase.
