The 9s were flipped, as stated. The old ending of short par 4, par 5, long par 4, par 3 with water, par 4 is much better than the current final stretch, imo. Also liked starting on 1 by the driving range and short game area.
The trees were thinned out probably 10 years ago to make it easier to see the golf course from the road, which I assume was intended to help lot sales. But there are a lot of shots now that are punch out from the trees that used to be lost balls. Used to feel like playing golf in the middle of the woods, and not in the middle of a neighborhood.
I think they did something with the current 6 with the landing area. Can't remember exactly what but remember it being slightly different.
Haven't played it in a bit, but don't think there have been many design changes other than that.

Isn’t it always packed? That guy doesn’t understand supply and demand.
The reality is that a $100/rd golf course in 2026 is the equivalent of a $50/rd course 10 years ago. People think they should get pristine conditions for $100/rd, it’s laughable. Go check out Covington CC, absolute goat ranch and they can get $60/rd on the weekends no problem. Golf has boomed since Covid and you have to pay big bucks to get pristine conditions unfortunately.

I understand supply and demand but the goal of golf courses shouldn't be to provide as little quality as possible for the price. $100 is very expensive for the area and its not unrealistic to expect a certain level of care for the course at that price. Maybe not pristine, but certainly very good conditions. If a course costs $100 per round and is always packed, they should be making plenty money to spend a little money on the proper herbicide and bunker maintenance. There is nothing wrong with holding a course and greenskeeper accountable for poor conditions.

With the price of chemicals, that $100 round won't go far. I agree that most courses could do better with the conditions but with the improved conditions price to play will have to follow.

Course is in good shape, just played Sunday. Bunkers are fine and plenty soft sand other than hole 9 which has some hard sand in it. Our 4 some started at 9 and finished at 12:45 and we were stuck behind another 4 some.

I played in a tournament there back in May enjoyed it
