I’ve played a lot higher than you ever have
I was pretty damn high on Cinderella99 (great hybrid for golf) yesterday playing. Shot an 82. Had some good and bad shots. Didn't throw or break any clubs.

I’m claiming every one of them has gotten mad to the extent of breaking a club.

Serious talk here. If you never been that mad, you never played competitively at a high level
The two aren’t mutually exclusive. You can play at a high level, while at the same time not being an a-hole

fricking a-hole just hit the ball. I can hit that pitch shot with my pants down, a lefty club turned backwards, a straight pipe Honda hitting the rev limiter right behind me and a 6 year old shaking there piggy bank full of change in my ear?? #douchebag

Don’t recall any of the best players breaking a club over their knee at Pebble Beach on the 18th in a US Open. Guess they just don’t care as much as him or have as much passion?

This
I tossed a wedge last year in pond.
Duffed a chip and it had been a frustrating day. I play in champ flights during most tournaments and my partner had sucked all weekend.
It was last hole and needed a good shot. Didn’t make it happen.
I hate lashing out but it happens from time to time with most golfers that are decent and competitive

I whole heartedly disagree with ballchamp here, but this is definitely not what he was talking about.

Not what I meant
Numerous factors lead to a spur moment reaction that you wished you’d handled differently

I love this little video of him freaking out at a European Tour event .
Massive chode.

I'm torn here. I had the same thought, too. Yeah, Reed is a douche, but it was bad enough for the caddy to notice it. So, it must've been pretty annoying. Then, I read the caddy is his brother-in-law. So, that throws everything in the air because he shares the same blood as Reed's lunatic wife. He could have imagined the whole thing.
