In the market for a new bag. I'd really like to get a non-golf company branded bag like a stitch, shapland, jones, etc, but I'm really more of a cart bag guy than a carry/stand bag guy. I usually keep my bag in my office and it takes up much less room standing up straight than leaning at an angle on a stand, plus I always take a cart and just like the extra space and size that cart bags provide.

Going back to the stitch, shapland, jones type bags it looks like they don't really offer a nice big sturdy cart bag but more of the carry/smaller stand bags. Anyone have any recommendations for a nice cart bag?

The nicest one I can find online is the Ping DLX which looks really nice but again I was trying to lean away from the giant golf company branded logo on my bag. My ideal bag would be the Ping DLX but from a company like Jones or Shapland.

I have a Callaway Org 14 that's been great. I finally made the switch earlier this year since I hardly ever walk courses anymore. It has more compartments than I actually need

I have this Datrek Transit bag and love it. It does have branding, but not huge. It's a cart bag, full-length dividers, but the main feature is that it has built-in wheels with a retractable handle like luggage.

I love it. I just roll it to the range or to the cart. No more carrying a heavy bag on tired shoulders after a range session. You could use it as a walking bag, but it'll toplle over on uneven terrain due to being top heavy.

I don't have any recs, but I have a Jones Original, and I'll confirm based on what you indicated, The Jones Original ain't for you. You'd hate it, like really hate it.

Good luck in your search.

Damn that's a nice one, good recommendation. Definitely at the high end of what I'd spend but if I can't find anything better that's just what I had in mind.

I got the new ping hoofer tour bag this week. It’s bigger than your typical hoofer—almost the size of a cart bag

I have gone through two titleist bags in the last 4 years... never buying one again, they are just straight up POS. That's my 2c.

I love Ogio bags.

Best stand bags around and I like a putter well. Cart bags are cool too.

If I didn't buy a Ogio it would be the new Ping Tour Hoofer.

Ogio Convoy SE is a pretty nice hybrid bag. I’ve got one and it’s made of cordura material, which is some top notch stuff in the world of bags.

My last one was an Ogio. It was great, but fell apart after about 3 years.

My current bag is a Bag Boy Revolver FX, and the build quality is great. I've had it for 2.5 years and it barely has a scratch. The Revolver is a big, heavy bag, which I knew going in. I have no experience with any of their other bags, but I would be buying another one if I needed one.

All good options so far. I've seen most of them in person such as the sun mountain and Ogio. I really like the Vessel bag and may lean that way if I decide to spend that much money, if not I'd probably lean Ogio.

I have the Ogio Special Op,'s stand bag right now and I love it.

Ogio is so smart about where they put the pockets and useful accessories.
