I know I’ve mentioned it here before, but why does NBC have the loud humming background noise? It drowns out the announcers most of the time. It’s like a Cessna just buzzing around my TV. The other networks don’t have the same issue.

Good call because it was some kind of prop plane. I guess CA. doesn't allow gas blimps to fly around.

Now that you mention it, I had my volume way up and could barely hear the announcers

It was a Cessna with a camera on board. They showed a shot of the marine layer yesterday and you could see the shadow of the plane on the layer. Yes the drone from the Cessna's engine was very annoying, but not as annoying as the idiots calling the tournament.

I didn't notice a humming but that had to have set a record for most commercials in a major. They were non stop.

NBC is too cheap for an airship. Goodyear is right down the road in Carson.
How unenviromentaly calous of NBC to have a piston engine aircraft overhead burning fossil fuel and creating noise pollution.
