It looks like they are building housing on part of the course, but some of the course is still looking like a golf course. The guy that I talked to a few years ago said they were considering having 3-5 holes remain open. I think LSUA is probably better off letting it die & using the property for other things.

Red Oaks CC. It was a cheap 9 hole course in Nuba, between Ville Platte and Opelousas. I believe it was $12/round with a cart. Can’t tell you how many rounds I played in high school and the memories we made there. Me and my buddies still talk about it. It was terrible but we didn’t care. It was all we could afford at the time lol.

Anyone mention the old Houma golf course at the end of Barrow Street? Used to border the Intracoastal Canal.
