I bought some Snell MTB-Blacks last week, and I love the feel.
They feel great off the driver, and they still had plenty of spin around the greens. I'll probably buy a few dozen of the MTB-Black and MTB-X next time around.

I had bought the red last time I bought snell and I like them a lot. Obviously red isnout so I figured I’d try the x. Will make larger order if I like them. This was before the MGS results came in

I was given a dozen about the time they released them. I think they are, quite possibly, the worst golf ball in this segment.

His reply is about the Chrome Soft.

First thing I noticed when I opened a sleeve was the obvious seam like the old Pro-Vs. I'm going to seam these.

I've played several dozen Snells over the last few years and they are very good balls.
I tried the Wilson Duo Professional the last few times out and have been VERY pleased with them. Very good performance on and around the greens.
MyGolfSpy says the softer balls( Duo Pro Compression is around 55) cost you distance, so that's a concern, but if it's not significant, I'd be happy to stay with them. At $35/doz for a three piece urethane that feels like a marshmallow, they're pretty good.

Lost golf balls has a bucket of 96.
Curiously, the Zstar x is $89.
The zstar xv is 65.
But isnt the zstar xv the newer ball?

Snell??
Volvik??
Kirkland Signature?!!
Whatever happened to Srixon, Taylor Made, and Calloway?! Apparently this is what happens when you haven't played in a few years.

Direct to consumer cutting out the middle men.
A lot of the R&D folks from the brand names left to make their own balls.

Went and messed around at Webb after work today and everything they say about soft balls is true, they go nowhere.
I had a box of titleist dst softs and hit 3 off 1, hit 3 chrome softs, then hit 3 z stars and the Z was easily 20 yards longer. Obvious but its eye opening seeing it live.
no one should really play the soft catagory of balls, I dont see where they help anyone.

Can confirm, especially long irons. Don't lose much distance though from what I've seen, just accuracy.

I have a new ball folks. This Snell ball is fantastic. No more playing multiple models with these being so inexpensive. Great, great golf ball.
