I've been on East Lake, Shoal Creek, Lochinvar, Bluejack National, Boot Ranch, Spanish Oaks and River Oaks CC several times each. River Oaks is certainly the most exclusive when it comes to membership, but I'd say Boot Ranch is more challenging to get on. I've got an upcoming trip to Sage Valley and trying to work in Peach Tree, but it's a struggle. All of them were great, but nothing I've done is as much fun as a guys trip to Boot Ranch.

I lived about two blocks from the Klipper for 4 years while stationed at K bay. Thoroughly enjoyed it.

Torrey Pines and the now closed Koolao in Kaneohe, Hawaii. One of highest slope rating in country for years.

unless someone has played Pine Valley you are the winner. It's rare to find yourself in a place where someone has played Peachtree.
Think a handful of us have played Pine Valley.
Guy with Shinnecock and Winged Foot who posted right above you is my winner (although Floyd’s combination of courses is up there).

Philadelphia Cricket Club is a strong contender.
Place was incredibly nice. It was years ago I played it when my cousin was graduating Villanova. My uncles good friend was a member there and he hosted us for golf and dinner at the club.
Eta: I see they are playing the Truist championship there this year and going back to Charlotte next year

I might agree on the best courses, but as far as exclusive goes Pine Valley and Peachtree are up there. Not that Winged Foot or Shinnecock are easy to get on, but if you know someone in NY finance you can get on. Money doesn't go very far at Pine Valley and Peachtree... They're all filthy rich. There is a club up in NY called the Club of Purchase that I know is extremely closed to outsiders as well.

I was saying the combo of Pine Valley, Shinnecock, and Winged Foot. I also didn’t know how hard those were to get on but figured they were probably pretty difficult.

Dick Murphy was the professional at Peachtree GC for many years and was a good friend of my boss. His daughter was the swim/dive coach at our club. My birthday present for a few years was being able to bring 3 of my friends to play PGC.
His twin brother Dan was the pro at Cherokee Town and CC.
ETA: I think someone mentioned it earlier, but a really underrated exclusive club is Secession outside Beaufort SC. I caddied there for a couple of summers while in college and that place was unreal. Might be in my 5 favorite courses.

Bay Hill. Multiple times. First trip over Arnie walked up and hit balls next to me on range. Great memories.
