People don't realize how much easier the approach into #3 is when you're coming from the left hand side of the fairway. The lie is more elevated/even with the green which helps stop the ball on such a narrow landing surface, and if the pin is on the right side, the ball naturally funnels towards it. Being able to hit a driver off the deck is big, too

I always had a tougher time with 6 at Uclub. That hole ate my lunch all 100 times I played there when I worked the pool.

3's green is pretty high and tight if I remember right. I sailed the green on my 3rd (often 4th/5th) shot several times on that hole.

It's not even with the green until you get up around even with the front of the green. So unless you're using "approach" to refer to your fourth shot either side of the fairway is a tough shot.

Screw #18 at GS. You can hit 3 good shots and still bogey because of the green.

I can actually birdie #4 if I don't hit it into down into the trench.

I have actually birdied 18 more than I have birdied 4

I hate the 2nd shot on both holes even though there is plenty of room. I don't play a draw and neither shot suits my eye well at all.

the par 5 at Copper, 12 I think, it isn't getting hit in 2.

I hit it in 2 last time I played there from the copper tees. I pulled my tee ball into #14 fairway. Leaves a great angle into the green, just a 200+ yard carry over the water. Hit 3Hy into the green and 2 putted for birdie. Not ideal and the hole when played correctly is tough.

I can't remember #18 @ GS the one time I played there.

I do agree with the folks that have said #3 @ UC. Somewhat tight tee ball and the small elevated green is tough to hold.

I think you may be thinking of the wrong hole.
12 @CM is that long par 5, a pull left ends up on that long par 3 (15?) or realistically in that wooded area/lake.

Yep I did.
Was the day I was charged a golf cart after letting their cart guys play the bluffs free the weekend before.
Freaking Mike.

One if the only times in my pga career I was ever charged a golf cart fee.

3 @ UClub is 673 tipped out
Played from the members and it was 580. Driver, 3W, flop shot. Hit 3 perfect shots only to 2-putt from 5 ft on a downhill, left-right slope.
