I don't usually post on the golf board but this was crazy. It was at Beaver Creek holes 10,11, and 12. Now I usually play from the blue tees but had some friends in town that don't play much golf and wanted to play the whites. Wind was helping on 10 and 12. Drove the green on 10 and made the putt, was on in 2 on 11 and made the putt then drove the green on 12 and made the putt. I then proceeded to triple bogey 13 and 14 then double bogey 15 and 16. I'm not good at golf but wanted to share the story.

Its dry out there, little helping wind, nobody gonna believe this either but it was about 315 yards to the green. There were 2 people in front of us still on the green, I hit anyway thinking there was no way I was driving the green and sure did roll up on it.

I believe you. It’s dry as hell and wind but that’s a narrow green and not friendly to hit a draw into because you cook it and it’s in the water.
Nice shot and putt!

Making on the green in two on 11 is tough. That water has consumed a many of my 3 woods in!

Impressive 3 hole stretch though baw

Back 9 was a wild ride. Eagle Eagle Eagle, Triple, Triple, Double, Double, Bogey, Par.

Felt the pressure of shooting best round of my life and the wheels fell off.

I was caddying for a group of college golfers recently. One kid double eagled 11th hole par 5 hole by draining a 275+ 3w. Next hole another guy holes a 9 iron from the fairway for an eagle. Next hole another guy lipped out on a 175 yd par 3. It was crazy.

Congrats on the accomplishment.

Years ago right after they redone the greens, I had a double eagle at Frasch Park in Sulphur and then went birdie, par, birdie.

Only problem with the double eagle was I couldn't see it go in from where I was hitting.

I can't imagine how straight of a drive it had to be drive and hold the green on 12

My last eagle was followed by the shittiest 5 iron I've hit in a while on a Par 3 that probably went 45 degrees to the right.

My first double eagle a guy in our group one hopped one in on top of mine for eagle from about 80 yards out.

That was the last hole and we were 8 bets down. Finished 8 bets up after we got through with the hole. Out of our 5, we played that hole 7 under. One guy was on in 2 and 3 putted.

Losing big to winning big on one hole. Golf’s a crazy game.

Congrats! That is awesome!

I've never shot an eagle. Grew up playing my whole life and my father was a golf course superintendent, so I played A LOT.

The closest I ever came was hitting a green in 2 on a Par 5. The ball was probably less than 3 feet and I missed the damn put. I was 17-18 years old at the time. My buddy gave me so much grief after that.

I haven't been that close since.
