19yo Caleb Surratt takes home $330k for T13 finish in his first pro event. Not including his extra $ from helping his team finish 1st in team competition.
Nick Dunlap got into his first signature event in PGA, but looks like he will only get $32k for coming in 80th.

I tried to get the liv app to work about 2:30 today and it just gave the broadcast color bars and said 1....2. Over and over. Had to sign up at that time and got the sign up email code about 5pm.

It’s cool for Surratt, but I don’t think he or Dunlap will be hurting for cash in the near future.
I know the money thing does it for some people, and the first time someone gets a big payday is cool, but after that it really doesn’t have that big of an impact on me. Just rich people becoming richer.

It was a rough look for LIV when one of the first things their champ says is “I’m not in the Majors”
And it sucks for him, but your league didn’t do anything to try and fix that

You can’t be this dense. It’s not a bad look for LIV - it’s a bad look for the political climate of golf.
Niemann should absolutely be invited to play in the Masters with their BS “Top 50 in OWGR” qualification.
He’s already qualified for 2/4 majors & Olympics. Wouldn’t be surprised if he tries to get in US Open through qualifying

Look, you can try and bury your head, but the vast majority of people, the huge majority, all of those but the extreme LIV bots like yourself, are tired of hearing liv and LIv players complain about rankings and majors
They chose to take a shite ton of money knowing this could happen. That’s the players choice. And on the other end LIV the tour chose to not comply with OWGR. The bast majority of rational humans blame LIV and their players for this for not confirming, not the other way around

I’m fine with Niemann getting a special invite. He’s been playing like a top 50 player in the world, and the Masters loves having global players.
But I also say this every time, LIV told all their guys they were going to have world ranking points without meeting the criteria for it. The guys left because LIV was paying them extra money and that was worth potentially missing out on some majors.

Probably differs by country. I’m guessing Spain, Australia and Chile are thinking differently than the US

I just don’t understand why LIV and their fans want the majors. It’s boring 72 hole golf with pants and no music or teams. They should start their own majors during those weeks if their messaging is consistent
