I was at the birdie shack all day Friday. Was loud as hell but had a great time. Think it was a success

Probably won't watch a second of LIV on TV, but that shite was fricking fun. Come back, but do it in early March you dumb Saudi bastards.

I went to both LIV and PGA.

PGA - better weather and course and many more people. PGA party hole was better than 16 at LIV.

LIV - better players overall the shot gun start was entertaining - everything seemed faster almost like you wanted to bounce around the course to see different players rather than follow a group. My children for sure identify with the teams, they asked about the logos and the players - I assume that’s a good thing overall.

But it was just too damn hot at LIV.

No issues at the bar that was reported last years LIV tournaments.

I can’t believe they scheduled a June tournament in Houston. It’s either gonna be hot as hell or a torrential rain..i would have gone to the LIV even if it were in October - April, but May - September is just miserable here. I’ll go play if it’s cloudy or I can get in 9 from like 7:30-8:45…other than that no thanks

Outside of Houston in June, scheduling during the memorial seems not the best course of action either

Why compete against a big PGA event? It’s not going to work out in your favor

I thought it was obvious they were wanting to play the weekend before the US Open. Same as most of the PGA Tour guys.

They will also play the weekend before the Open Championship & the weekend before the Olympics for what it’s worth

I think my main question is what is the point of the league then? Is it just for the player experience?

LIV only has 14 events. Why have a couple of them feel like throw away events that so few people care about where you’re competing against the best of the PGA Tour? And why do it in Houston in June? It just doesn’t make a ton of sense to me.

Valid questions

Looking at the schedule, I think their priority for US was large markets.

Outside of the Greenbrier, they’re going to Las Vegas, Miami, Houston, Nashville, Chicago, Dallas.

With those locations, I’m not sure how they could have scheduled it better bc they wanted to stay in US between the PGA & US Open and still have to play in August & September. I think the player’s requested Miami before the Masters

Well, I will give them this on the schedule. Houston in June is hot but bearable. Houston in August is like Minnesota in winter; just don't go outside.

This past week was brutally hot and humid in Texas.
