I think Matt Wolff is in that mold. Except for the fact that he’s basically lost his golf game the last year and a half. Still a good get for LIV IMO.
I think Wolff is probably pretty self-aware about his mental state and the fact that he may never be able to maintain a high level of play for extended periods of time. If he can go make some guaranteed money and then capitalize on a few weekends when he does play good golf, he can set himself for life in just a couple of years.

You think Wolff is likeable? That dude is a whiny arse psycho
Fowler is likeable

I would agree. Doesn’t mean Charl’s isn’t very very good.

True, but Fowler isn't good and I doubt he ever is again. The PGA Tour does have a lot of young, good, likable guys right now, so I'm sure at least a couple of them will be ripe for the picking. As you've said, these guys may lose the ability to qualify for major tournaments and other opportunities in their career (Ryder Cup, etc.), but it is a lot of freaking money and everyone has their own priorities in life.

A lot of people find Wolff very likable. Same thing with Rickie.
Both aren’t playing very good golf but would be great additions to LIV.

I have no doubt some guys I like will join this thing but so far it’s been guys who are cunty assholes who all can easily tell you why they think the PGA/media/entire world of golf has done them wrong.

I think Fowler is a good addition. I don’t think Wolff moves the dial At all

If LIV has a finish with three of the bigger names it’s going to be great. All finishing at about the same time no matter what hole.

Oh yeah, LIV would certainly want either of those guys.
Also, a guy like Morikawa is exempt for the PGA Championship the rest of his career, exempt for The Open until he's 60, and exempt at Augusta and the US Open through 2026.
Hideki Matsuyama is exempt for all majors until 2026.
Cameron Smith is exempt for all majors until 2024 or 2025 for winning the PLAYERS.
I don't think guys like Spieth or Justin Thomas would join unless it is clear LIV is going to become the premier league, but the point is there are a lot of relatively young, accomplished players that could leave the PGA Tour and still be able to compete in the most high-profile events in the world IF IF IF the majors allow guys with exemptions to play. As of now, I'm not sure what each of the majors will decide. I do know that if more and more of the best players in the world join LIV, their hands will be tied and they'll have to let them play.

Second place today will interesting based on the last holes of each player

Schwartzel just plugged a shot in the bunker. Things could get interesting here.

They just announced that Patrick Reed is joining LIV officially

Fans love to hate him that's for sure.

Pat Perez has joined.

His wife announced it a couple days ago, and then made one of the most cringeworthy Instagram stories I’ve ever seen today

It’s now reported Phil and Djs contracts are for four years….
So did those guys actually make money? That’s 50 million and 30 million a year respectively, but they both lost their sponsors
Were they both not making that in sponsorship money annually? I would have thought Phil for sure was

Phil lost almost all of his sponsors, but not sure about DJ. He's still out there rocking Adidas and most of this other majors sponsors.
