As a player, you think fines should be paid. But as a fan, you don't care? Hopefully you mean PGA players. If not, doesn't make sense at all.

Eamon Lynch melting like a bitch on Golf Channel now. Still saying players that went to LIV took blood money. WTF did the entire PGA Tour just do?

Eamon said the same thing about the PGA today and ripped Monahan. His hatred of the Saudis makes a decent amount of sense though considering the risk he would be in if he lived in Saudi Arabia as a gay man.

Probably because LIV no longer exists. I actually feel bad for all of the LIV fans and the LIV players that were against monopolies.

What? They are finishing this season and after watching the Yasir interview it sounds like it may be around for a while.

Which fans and players, specifically, are you referring to that hated monopolies?

If you don’t take the money now, you will get nothing after the merger takes place

It will be interesting to see when the details come out. Maybe part of the deal is there is a pool of cash to pay the Rorys Rahms JTs Schefflers Xander.. cantlay Morikawa...Zalatoris ( I mean...if Pat Perez is worth 15..20 million I would think Zalatoris should get that

If Monihan negotiated a billion pool for "loyalty" to be distributed plus higher purses ... Then I can see players accepting. There had to be...some possible reengagement plan?
Even if wasnt likely or necessarily wanted ...
So we'll see how right Donald is

We will know a lot more after this players only meeting

What if it’s large fines for the deflected players to return, and the fine goes directly to the players who remained on tour?

People, myself included, are coming up with all kinds of ideas without really knowing much right now

I’m not saying it won’t be around. But lol, what players would voluntarily stick around and play that horrific tour with shotgun starts instead of against the best competition? Now that they appears to be able to come back. I would assume the LIV if it actually sticks around is more for the Pat Perez of the world.

He spoke about 20 minutes on GC. Said it what the worst day in golf history.

Dammit I missed it. He and Eamon are going to get fired. This is amazing.

The ones who left knowing exactly everything you said and others who were likely going to leave at the end of this season.

You're correct. No critical thinking on my side. I talked to a former Tour player that is still in the know.

You might want to ask him why liv would strike this deal if the entirety of the damn tour was about to leave for liv

Also ask why LIV can no longer recruit players if players weren't going to leave.

Again, LIV got what they wanted. Access and control of the PGA. They have a brand. A clean brand. Why would they pass that up to simply grow LIV given the connections at the PGA?
