I got to play it back in late July, a few weeks prior to the reopening. No one in our group saw any, but we were all told explicitly beforehand not to go looking for a ball in the tall grass. Trey even had us sign waivers before the round

I try my best to keep it in my pants while I’m out there. Sorry about that.

Surrounded by cane fields that are being cut, snakes have to go somewhere. All that tall grass around the course makes for perfect hiding places. That said, I played there a few weeks back and saw none.

A couple of years ago I picked up a sand rake on #11 and apparently there was a water snake laid out straight under it, never saw it. Looked down to it biting the toe of my shoe, I've never screamed so loud in my life. Couldn't even finish the round I was so shook

A snake problem is the perfect metaphor for the entire operation

Plenty of copperheads. I have seen a few and this was years ago.

Well, yet another reason I have no desire to play there.

Yes, a carefully crafted schedule that almost guarantees no play.

T - Minus 25 days until practically no one who's been paying to play will be allowed to as a public golfer.

Worst part is when is was bought we were all led to believe it was going to be of great benefit for all of the pass holders.
