Golf happens.
I played in a member guest Friday/Saturday tournament a few years ago with a buddy. I putted 12 less times on Sat and shot the exact same score as the previous day.
It’s a cruel game.

Crazy things can happen.
One February day a long time ago we’re 8 bets down playing 5v5 going to the last hole, short par 5.
I hit a 1-iron that looks pretty good, other group still by the green, probably counting their impending winnings. I hear floating back from the green “god damn you Dave”. At that point I know I’ve made my first albatross.
Then another guy one hops one in from 80 yards out, another chips in. We have 3 balls in the cup and nobody’s hit a putt yet.
8 bets down to 8 up, one hole. I love this game.

I did not, but I did do pretty decently today going 42-33. Hangover to start that turns very nicely into a Sunday Funday.

I thought the hardest thing I ever accomplished in golf was getting my handicap under 8. Until I tried to get it under 5.
Imo, the difference between consistently shooting 78-82 and 72-76 is massive. I actually cant say how massive as I was never able to accomplish it. Part of it was life happened and I wasn't able/willing to go to the course 2-3 times a week, but honestly, I don't think it was possible for me.

Fairways best I’ve ever seen, greens lot of bare spots, but ok for Webb, some fuzzy some fast.
Spoke to Mike he said they gonna post 50k rounds this year . For the old timers Mike Drury’s youngest boy is the super. He doing a decent job

How about playing the par 3s at +7 but the other 14 under par?
