Looking for solid golf course that is reasonable in price and not too difficult. Any suggestions?

Gray Plantation or Golf Club of Louisiana.

Golden Nugget is the best but not reasonably priced.

Gray Plantation. Played there last summer for like $35 on a twilight. Has a few memorable holes down by the water.

LaBerge is nice. $38 for twilight. Me and my brother usually tee off around 5 o'clock and can get all 18 before dark.

Gray Plantation for sure. Can play for as low as $29 if you take a late tee time. Course was in great shape last time I played.

I've heard good things about National Golf Club of LA in Westlake too.

National in Westlake is my favorite to play around the Lake Charles area

National in Westlake will be your best value in my opinion.

Gray Plantation would be 2nd on value but probably an overall better experience than National.

I still rank Koasati Pines the best in the area and it can be played for a reasonable price at twilight.

Played the Country Club at Golden Nugget today. Was impressed with the course, but the greens had been punched a couple weeks ago and they had sod on the collars that was struggling to take root, but everything else was awesome. Very cool layout, very friendly to hacks like me. Wind seems to be the only real defense the course has...

Ain't that the truth... played twilight there today... they're getting better, but man, they were dirt patches earlier this year.
