Also really dumb. You think 15 at the farm is a good hole? There is also that long par 3 with the stupid green at Atchafalaya. Maybe number 8 or so.

No it’s a bad hole. But I don’t think it’s worse than the one at cane row

Absolutely dog shite golf hole. Worst finishing hole you’ll ever play. And that’s coming from a 12 year member.

The green on 18 is really nice at least

I like 18 at Oakbourne, it takes a perfect kick off of a root high right near the tree line to set up the perfect 2nd shot

Found the secret route. Dead push right of the trees, almost hit the people on 10th tee, bounce through OB down the hill to sw distance

That’s a Bayou Bend legend approach there. LOL

The Farm just punched their greens. Keep that in mind.
The Wetlands should be your answer, unless you can get on LT or Oakborne.

OK I laughed at this one

I've had so many different outcomes happen on that hole. Made every score possible from a 3 to a 10 (and the 10 was in the stroke play tournament one year in the last round and needed just a bogey to shoot my best round ever).
If you go for the safe play in the fairway straight ahead, you're still 190 out on a sidehill lie to an uphill green. And that's if it doesn't hook left into the maintenance shed, or roll through the fairway to the rough on #14, in which case you are blocked by #14's trees. The fairway angles away from you so balls roll through a lot, and the lowest point of the fairway is almost always hard pan dog shite lie.
Try to go over the trees to cut off the dogleg, you hope it clears, doesn't get held up in the rough on the mounds on the other side, and also hope it doesn't roll through the fairway onto #14 where again, you will be blocked by trees. And if you don't clear the trees and land in the forest on top of the hill, better hope your ball actually came down and that you can find it, that you can somehow punch it back out, and that it didn't ricochet to the only internal OB on the course.
That's not even getting to the green yet, which is one of the most severely sloped greens on the course, and guarded by bunkers front right and back left.
Just a lovely hole.

It's in good shape, but an awful green, putt or chip from anywhere right of the green to a front pin location and you have about a 1% chance of keeping it on the green.

Flat, open and generally really slow greens.

Good deal.. Thanks Again... crazy enough she's the most comfortable with driver over just about every other club in her bag..

How old? Can she play? I think maybe 8 and 10 might be lay up holes.

Just curious. Why did they swap the nines at Cane Row?

She's been playing for 2 1/2 years.. typically will shoot in the 80's-90's. Short game is her achilles I've seen her duff some many chips it's ridiculous. I do have to tell myself she's young and still pretty new to the game ..
Her biggest advantage is being able to hit it further than most girls she plays against.. So a lot of times she's driver wedge on par 4's

She should be able to pull driver on most holes. There are some force Carrie’s on the front which leads to ridiculously slow play out there. It’s normally atrociously slow. With it being all files and most of them not taking on the forced carries, it should be better than a normal Saturday.
There’s nothing special about the course as far as tips/local knowledge that I can think of.
