Korn Ferry event here this week Florida

Got to watch some of the guys practicing today. To be honest had no idea it was going to be here this week until I saw them setting up things on the tee boxes and some light spectator roping.
Anybody know who may be of interest to try and check out later this week?
I believe this is the final event of the season and guys will be able to get on the pga by how well they do. Which is always fun watching.

Yeah Q school finals. It's one of the most interesting events of the year IMO. It can really alter career path for the guys getting PGA status vs. conditional Korn Ferry status. A lot gets decided for their future in golf.
A baw of mine missed the cut to get in the finals by two strokes in 2nd stage and now instead of playing for an opportunity to have some tour membership he'll be playing mini tours this season. Even if he wins the mini tour he still goes back to Q school next year with no guarantee of any KFT membership
ETA: Tournament is held at both Sawgrass CC and TPC Sawgraww Dye Course

One of the players, Dylan Healy, is an assistant pro of mine in Tucson. Kid has great game and went through all the way from canada tour to first stage to second stage and now in finals! Crazy to think that with the best 4 rounds of his life he could have a tour card after this weekend

Winstead in contention still. He is in the final pairing on this course tomorrow. Looks like everyone that played this course today did much better then those over on the valley course

He’s going to have to really turn around his card from Thursday at SCC. Played PD -10 thru 2 rounds so hopefully he can keep that momentum going at SCC.

Yesterday was a wash. Final round today. Not sure how much I will be able to see. I suspect there will be some obscure tv coverage today.

Friend of mine from Covington made to the final stage but he hasn't had his best game. Michael Arnaud is his name. Shot 75, 69, 75 so he's basically out of it at +9.

Was able to watch Winstead play a few holes. Net his mother and I believe girlfriend. Very nice people.
