I would like to get a Golf Course Print made, but I can’t find an image anywhere. I’m not even sure how they handle custom designs, but it’s worth a shot.

You would need a google image from like 20 years ago

There’s a decent image from 2005 on Google earth pro.

quote:That’s the hard part. They used to have a aerial photo in the clubhouse. Hoped there might be a digital version out there.

I'm from Lafayette but Gonzalez Country Club is where I learned and fell in love with the game of golf.
My grandparents lived in St. Gabriel and when I would stay over at their house on weekends sometimes, my grandfather would wake me up at 5am to go play 9 holes before anyone else showed up on the course. I remember like it was yesterday, riding in his Cadillac in the early morning down the curvy roads through St. Gabriel to Gonzales, listening to his static AM talk radio. He had his own golf cart stored in some of the cart sheds there, we would go get it out and he'd let me drive it around the course. I don't remember a lot of the golf (although I remember him always letting me take mulligans haha) but I remember our shoes and pants were always covered with wet grass from the early morning dew. We would be finishing the last hole and the sprinklers would be on and people were starting to show up to play
Thanks for sparking the trip down memory lane. I miss him and wish I would have played more rounds with him.

Anytime. My great uncle was a member, so I would go play with him. I found out years later that I was part of their money games lol. Good times.
