The dude got mad so he should be suspended?

Not sure if you're being dishonest or are just dumb.

Neither, I love Golf but I hate self righteous golf fans.

Koepka is boring bc he shows no emotion

Sergio shows emotion so he should be suspended

Literally no one is saying this. Why do you keep leaving out the part where ha damages the course?

Players want Sergio banned

quote:

For another golfer with a clean record it was the sort of tantrum which would be frowned upon, with so many groups to come having to use that teeing ground, but ultimately forgiven. Yet, Garcia has so much history in 2019 and before, that there is a growing feeling in the locker room that a fine will not suffice on this occasion and that a ban is overdue.

We are starting to wonder what Sergio has to do to get a couple of involuntarily weeks off,” a leading player told Telegraph Sport on Monday.

getting to let frustration out is very healthy.

Slow play hurts playing partners and everyone behind.

Damaging tee boxes, bunkers and greens (he's done each on separate occasions this year) hurts playing partners and everyone behind a lot more than having to wait a couple minutes. If Sergio would've snapped a club over his knee or taken the frustration out on his bag I wouldn't really have a problem with it. He would still be fined, but it'd be ok. However, he's clearly crossed the line and is out there damaging the course now.

It's not so much him simply "showing emotion," it's him throwing temper tantrums like a 12 year old and damaging the course. I'd get onto my buddies if they acted like Sergio has acted on numerous occasions over the past year. I don't care so much if a golfer cusses or yells from time to time, it happens. But taking your frustrations out by damaging the course and/or tossing clubs needs to stop. If this were in isolated event for Sergio, people wouldn't be talking about it as this one was admittedly more benign than others, but this has become a pattern for him. He needs to be suspended for a tournament or something similar. The Euro Tour disqualified him from a tournament for similar behavior earlier this year. He's too old to continue to act like this.

Sergio has been a bitch for a long time, but I don't remember stories about his tearing up greens until this year.

He's taken it over the top and both tours need to issue a warning. If he does it again he should be suspended.

Sergio has always been a giant bag of dicks. 9 or 10 years ago a walking scorer saw that Sergio wanted to break his driver. He said don't do that! Sergio said Why? Give it to me. Sergio said to the scorer. Why? I'll use it! The scorer said. So after the round, Sergio signed his card. He tossed the driver to the scorer. The scorer asked if he would sign it or give him the head cover. Sergio said no. Sergio thought that he might sell it on ebay. He was a dick then. Nothing has changed.
