During Saturday’s third round of the WGC-FedEx St. Jude Invitational, Garcia was unhappy with a drive, so he slammed his driver on the ground at the tee box, leaving a sizable divot. He wound up finishing 1-under in the tournament, tied for 40th place.
The weekend before, during the final round of the British Open at Royal Portrush, Garcia left the grass alone but took aim at his caddie instead. After another drive that did not go where he intended, he held it together momentarily. He bent over, picked up his tee and began to walk forward before tossing his driver right at his caddie, which was met with groans by the crowd. He was 1-under entering the day but finished 6-over, tied for 67th.

Convince these guys all these tournaments matter for legacy and status
Emphasize how important winning is in every event
Apply lots of pressure from fans and sponsors to do well
Make the purses gigantic sums of money
Suspend them when they show emotion on poor shots?????

He’s done it like 5 times this year. He was intentionally damaging greens in one tournament. It’s gotten ridiculous and he needs to be suspended

Yessir. Those guys know that even cursing loud enough for the fans to hear will result in a letter from the PGA Office. Most of the time the letter will have $ amount attached as well
