Yes. It’s winter conditions. But I played holes 1-6 with our kiddo last Thursday afternoon. I thought the conditions were nice for this time of the year. Greens were slick following the freeze conditions.

Would recommend. Was in good shape a couple weeks back. Greens rolled great.

I would say we are in above average shape for this time of the year and we will be drier than anyone in the area most likely. So hopefully more day off of the path. We also have space available almost any time so come see us!!!

Really wish they’d offer an east side membership.

Island is the best kept secret right now. In better shape than Beaver and Greystone right now and lower price and you can actually get a decent tee time usually.

Was pleasantly surprised. Course in pretty good shape, greens a little slow but that’s the only complaint

I wouldn't say better shape than Beaver. I've recently played both.

Beaver greens weren't great 2 or 3 weeks ago plus it was better to hit out if the rough where there was grass versus tight, dry lies in fairway

Played BC last Friday and the greens were pretty covered in patches. Granted, I think that’s most everywhere right now but I still missed a few putts that I should have made because the hall was hopping around.

Played Beaver this week as well and if anyone says it is better than the Island please dont say anything about Golf because it is clear Beaver is in bad bad shape at the moment. Hearing you can barely get a tee time at the Island right now. The strides that place has made is remarkable.

We have our Masters tournament at Beaver on April 8. This situation sounds like a bad beat for us. We have 36 guys playing. BC should reduce our rate bigly if the greens are gone.

They aren’t gone but they aren’t very good. 18 is probably the worst one. The collars are pretty bad too. No way they are giving discounts for anything. They are booked solid for quite awhile.

This is why the state of BR golf sucks right now. So much demand, so little and shitty supply

Played last week, place is looking amazing, greens rolling true, they will get faster as we get into summer. Also you cant beat the design of The Island. One of the more fun/challenging layouts in South Louisiana, get out there quicK!
