Ideal golf bag setup question

How would you complete your golf bag in this scenario?
Driver at 10.5* with 4i at 20* and you have 2 clubs to fill in the gaps.
3wood at 14.5*
5wood at 17.5*
3hybrid at 19*
Ditch the 4i and get all three listed above?

I can only speak for myself but shafts made a big difference to me to such a point that I wouldn't recommend choosing anything just based on lofts. Different shafts in clubs or same clubhead produced different shots.
When you are trying to gap clubs appropriately, you really want some real data to base it on. My first go at my new hybrid didn't go well. I never hit the new 4i of my irons and even though all my loft gaps were nice I would hit the 4i the same distance as the hybrid when I actually got on course and started hitting them. Luckily the hybrid was adjustable so I could strengthen it a bit and get better gapping from 3W -> hybrid -> 4i.

What is your stock 4 iron?
I feel I have to have a 3 Wood in my bag so its finding something halfway between 3 wood and 4 iron, for me its 3hybrid 19* which gives me stock carries of 215-235-255

15 degree 3 wood
21 degree 7 wood
I know the 7 wood is close in loft to your 4 iron, but it’s gonna go quite a bit further than your 4 and is better out of the rough than the hybrid or 4 iron.
Ditch the hybrid and 5 wood

4i is 225 yds.
I’ll probably get 3w and 3h right now. Next time I get irons, I’m leaning 5-AW so I’ll pickup a 4h then.

I haven't carried a 3,4,5 irons in years.
Hybrids are just too easy to hit.
My suggestion is to setup your bag accordingly to the courses you normally play and the yardage.
No reason to carry a club that you never get a chance to use it.

4i at 20! What does the bottom of your bag look like? For me it’s about having more options at the low end of the bag, you are putting too much though into clubs you will hit once or twice a round. You need a driver, wood and hybrid/iron you can trust off the tee. If you are carrying 4 clubs between 10.5 and 20 that’s too many.

My bag
Driver 9°
3 wood
5 wood
4 hybrid
5i-pw
52° wedge
56° wedge
60° wedge
Putter-Scotty Newport select
The wedges are more important to me than the top end of the bag, that's the scoring side wedges and putter
I hit the fairway woods very well, that's the only reason I carry 2

Ok, so lets build out a 14 club bag then. (based on the T-300 lofts) and speculating on the wedges.
Dr 10.5
3w 13.5
2h 17.5
4i 20
5i 23
6i 26
7i 29
8i 33
9i 38
PW 43
GW 47-51
SW 51-55
LW 55-60
Putter
That's way too much gapping on the wedges. Ideally you would want much more control of distances closer to the hole, and greenside options. If you are just overloading a bag then there is no issues other than cheating. But, for me, your bag is way too top heavy.

Those lofts are fairly close.
T-300 PW 43*
GW1 48*
GW2 53*
SW 58
5 degree gapping, I find it works for me. Most people have 4 degree gapping, it all depends on what you like.

I wouldn't worry about a 3 wood b/c the 5wood is honestly your best option anyway.. then I'd find a hybrid and still ditch the 4 iron and maybe add something at the bottom of the bag.. Or maybe like suggested replace the 4iron with a 7 wood.. I go back and forthwith my 7wood and my 4 crossover... usually depends on the course i'm playing
