It’s $130 on the weekends. They are certainly proud of it.

Highland Pines is very good.

Played BraeBurn today, hadn't played it since the renovation, I don't think it's any better. Aside from being wet course was in wonderful shape.

You’re the only one I’ve heard since the renovation that’s said that - I thought it was a complete overhaul. They also increased dues substantially.

I was a huge fan of the old course though. I enjoyed it and its beautiful just not sure the layout is better.

has anyone played tour 18? Buddy of mine mentioned playing there next weekend, seems like a cool place.

Our other option is Wildcat, not sure what condition that course is in

Haven't played Tour 18 since the spring, but don't go out there expecting pristine conditions. It's okay as far as upkeep and conditions go. It is fun to go play a few novelty holes that you see on TV. Amen corner, Bay hill #6, Harbour town #18, and TPC Sawgrass #17. None of the other holes are all that memorable that I can personally recall.

It's fine for what it is.

I say everyone should play Tour 18 once for the novelty. I will say the houses have really taken away a lot of the character.

Agree it is awesome but it really isn't a secret. Everyone in H-town knows about it. Good thing is at this point the novelty of it has kinda worn off and obviously it is football/hunting season so it isn't going to be as crowded.

played yesterday and it was still good. Greens were great. I still hate the course though with all the blind tee shots.

There were a few areas in the fairways that were somehow soaked with water. It hadn't rained recently, and I guess they don't have to follow the city water restrictions, because there were a couple of mud pits.

I like the lakes Course better than the Highlands at Wildcat.

Except for that par 5 that bends right with the lake on the left beft the island par3. (#7 I believe) still don't understand why they switched 9's around.

That's the worst visual from the tee for me.

Played Gus Wortham yesterday. Fantastic shape, lightning fast greens. Got it done in 4:10, which seems to be their average.

I need to get back to Gus soon.

Love playing and then going to Mambo Seafood to eat, drink and look at pretty Senioritas.
