Has anyone played Quail Hollow at Percy Quin SP lately?

What are the course conditions?

It's been quite a few years since we've last played there. I remember it being a good layout.

We're thinking about making a return trip if it's in decent shape.

Someone said a few months ago, it was being closed. It may already be closed.

They put a stop to that, they are trying to find a buyer

Awesome. I hope they can keep it open. We used to have family reunions up there. We’d rent cabins, fish, and play golf.

I used to love playing over there but it has been years since I have been. I hope they can keep it open and make it nice again.

Played beginning of last month. Was a fun tract with the elevation changes and in pretty good shape for being associated with a state park. Would put it up there with the better BREC courses as far as condition wise.

Played it 2 weeks ago
Always love the course. Great track
Fairways all in great shape.
Greens fasted I ever seen them. Overall in good shape. Some odd spots on the greens.
Still wet around a lot of the greens. But that’s always been an issue.

I’ve never been. Had some friends say the people running it were pretty rude, but that’s not a big deal.

Guess the elevation changes there are similar to Bluffs. Is that about right?

Not quite as much as The Bluffs.

If you head up that way you should play Wolf Hollow in Wesson. It is usually in better shape and a more fun layout. BYOB there though.

Similar is a good word. The very first tee is a huge drop down to the landing area.

Your definition of huge and mine are different.
From the back tees it's maybe 15-20ft higher than where the ball lands out in the fairway...
