I love the original. And for the most part I can deal with Sandler movies being what they are. But that was awful haha

Glad to see Scottie show some personality. He was the best part of the movie.

Verne cracked me up.

This movie had so much potential!

Make Happy a retired hockey coach for his kids…. No reason to kill his wife…make happy a gambling degenerate trying to make money as a sideshow long drive guy.

Maybe is daughter gets sick or his wife gets sick and they have to get some scratch quick….

Shooter should have remained the villain and played for Maxi or been captain with Brooks and Bryson on his team….

Don’t make it so ridiculous with the tour looking like a video game. Make it believable…

That’s what made the original great. It was somewhat believable….

This was awful and as much as I hate to say it. I will never watch another Sandler film unless it’s him in a serious role like Uncut Gems.

These half arse comedies are literally a slap in the face to the fans. They think enough cameos will carry the movie when it doesn’t at all.

Bryson was the best with just one line in that movie. “Don’t touch his tits! Those are our tits!”

Xander and his “that’s what she said” was awful

Well you remembered them, sorry you aren’t good enough to make any.
Actually I’m not sorry, but if you can afford it lessons are available so you can improve and maybe hit the green at least a few times a year.

My 11 year old is the biggest Happy Gilmore fan. He loved it. That’s all I needed.

It was good. There’s no touching the original, but that’s not what I expected anyway.

Some of y’all have a shoe up your arse and it shows.

Just an all out roast of LIV

That was amazing. Not even trying to hide it either. Kind of shows how silly LIV has been, but obviously exaggerated.

Uh….no. Caddyshack 2 was more entertaining than Gilmore 2

it may not be for everyone, but having grown up during the original Happy Gilmore and followed Golf all my life since it was pretty damn good. It had zero plot, and you knew what was gonna happen, but the cameos the shots at liv and even the personal touches from the PGA players just made it a pretty all around good watch. Anyone who expected something more serious has never seen an Adam Sandler movie before. John Daly and Scotty were insanely funny.

I watched it & enjoyed it.

It’s like one big SNL skit making fun of the current state of golf. Some things accurate, some things ridiculous. Pretty funny though, but nothing close to the original.

Also really enjoyed Bryson’s Break 50 with Sandler. He’s not a great golfer, but you can tell he actually plays the game

The first two acts were a decent homage to the original. Semi funny but not great. The final act/last 30 minutes was some of the dumbest, unfunny crap I've ever watched. They should have just completely cut out the Maxi stuff. So ridiculously dumb. The movie took this drastic turn and became an over the top sci fi movie instead of a comedy.

Yes it was completely retarded and was no where near as good as the original. I have no idea why anyone would expect anything different. I was looking for something lighthearted and mindless for a Sunday night, it checked the box.

I knew it wouldn't be anything close to the original. They never are. See Anchorman 2, Zoolander 2, Dub and Dumber 2, Caddyshack 2, etc. That doesn't mean I am expecting it to be completely retarded

For the first hour, it wasn't. It felt like an appropriate follow up. Felt like Happy Gilmore just not as funny. But when it got to the Maxi golf it was virtually unwatchable.

I liked it, but I also didn't expect it to be Oscar worthy like some of you apparently did.
