this is not a thread about how to grip a club, rather which grip to put on a club.

I've played Golf Pride Multi-Compound since 2005 or so and have never looked back.
i was about to regrip and was testing out a MCC Align.
Also saw the MCC Plus 4, which seems interesting in theory. but i don't have a problem with hooking and need "less" right hand, so probably not a fit for me.

i did the online test and it recommended the Z-Grip, full cord. but i read they are very hard and will destroy hands and gloves. i already roll through gloves with MCC, so that doesn't seem like something i'm interested in.

what are you playing? what is your opinion on them? what others have you played?

I am using the BestGrips Brown leather grips. I really like them with the exception of the crud that comes off the first couple rounds. i don't play a ton of rounds so leather wear isn't as big a deal to me.

My favorite grip that I have used about 20 years before that was just Velvet full cords. I like the firmer grip feel of them.

I tried the plus 4s, but they didn't work for me.

I use the Multi Compound White/Black Midsize.

the MCC Plus 4

This grip is a godsend for me. My hands don’t hurt after a round. I fight arthritis in my hands from breaking fringes playing ball as a kid.

My old set of clubs that I sold, I had Dri-Tacs on all 13 clubs. You can buy them off eBay in packs of 13 for $59

Golf Pride Tour Velvet 360. I’ve never really tinkered with extra wraps.

I tried the +4(came on a club I bought from eBay) but it wasn’t for me.

I’ve used Golf Pride Tour Wraps for 30+ years, good feel, soft for all weather.

I've got Champkey grips on my clubs and they are great for the price. If I was playing on tour or playing competitively, I'd put golf prides on there and play Pro Vs. But for the random few rounds I get a month, these work perfectly.

I’ve been a MC white/black for years. Decided to try the Z Cord in the wedges I bought last fall. I find them to be harder than the MC but they are not any more or less rough on hands and gloves. It feels like a tour velvet only a lot more firm. I actually like them more than my MC to be honest. Feels more uniform throughout the grip for me.

A little duct tape has worked quite well.

Just kidding....Tour wraps. Can’t go wrong.
